Since 1931, Jané has been concerned with the well-being and safety of babies, and since June 2003, it has had its own child-safety research and development center: the Jané Crash Test Research Center.

It is one of the only crash test research centers in the world and currently boasts some of the most advanced technology available. The laboratory enables child safety products to be designed with the highest safety standards, subjecting them to tests even stricter than those required by government regulations and testing them as many times as necessary.

Once approved by Jané's engineers, TNO Automotive Laboratories and IDIADA , which are responsible for the strictest accreditation system in Europe, test them again. ECE-R44, evident in all of Jané's safety products, recently adapted and prepared to conduct tests at higher speeds according to the EURO-NCAP test protocol.
